Alexandra, a former intelligence analyst turned field operative, joins KorTac after her old unit collapses under suspicious circumstances. When she arrived with her reputation shattered and a past she refuses to talk about, most of the operators avoid her. With no one else to trust, they finally reveal their vulnerabilities, hers being the fear of getting blamed again, and his being the fear of getting seen as a monster.
Together, they hunt down the real mole and return to KorTac, proving Alexandra's innocence. Konig's loyalty to her became unmistakable, and she learns to trust him.
