Poems about the harsh realities of life. The world isn't all sunshine and roses. It's cruel and it will kick you in the face a million times. These poems are my reality and what I go through daily. Of course good things happen but these poems are an outlet for me. This is a way for me to express myself freely without being judged

This is a little series of poems I made awhile back in my middle school years. I was depressed back then but following years I broke out of it. I close my eyes and reach for you My lips forming your name But my hand only closes on stars. I turn my arm until I am wearing a sleeve of luminessence But all I really wanted was you. I stare at the stars lining my fingertips They twinkle softly in the candlelight But all I really wanted was to feel your fingers intertwined with mine.
