Dive-in and become a character yourself in this first time writers journey to create a fun and exciting experience for all ages in "The Saint Way Home". What if there had never been an "Election Day, 2016"? Take a peek inside the pages of AA: 2016, to see an alternative outcome of a "what if" of US history! The plot thickens, quickly, and before election evening, 2016, ends an Islamic terrorist cell detonates a nuclear device in New York City. By week's end, the citizens of the United States witness the collapse of their country by the hands of dozens of Islamic terrorist cells. Ultimately, the terrorists are not acting alone; the true horror of those behind the cataclysm is yet to come to light. The novel follows the events that transpire beginning on Election Day, 2016 as college English Professor Elliot Leader of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, having just completed his civic duty of placing his vote, arrives home to watch the election coverage. Before the evening ends, the programing is interrupted by a Department of Homeland Security announcement that New York City has just experienced the detonation of a nuclear device. The good professor, his neighbor (a retired U.S. Army Ranger), an ex-student, and the student's girlfriend are soon caught up in a quickly escalating nightmare of terrorist actions that threaten not only their survival, but the very survival of the United States of America. Before the week's end, the citizens of the United States will witness the collapse of their country by the hands of terrorists. The terrorists may not be acting alone; the true horror is yet to come to light. The shocking political implications alone will never allow readers to look at another presidential election the same again.

The novel is center around a fictional world known as Electron. The inhabitants of Electron are called Elect and they are composed of high levels of electricity. The Elect is basically indestructible as they are able to move from one body to the next. In Electron society anything different and harmful to them is labeled "Dirty Electricity or Protons" and are banished to the land of Neutron. Neutron is also inhabited by lower electrical beings known as Man. These entities cannot move from vessel to vessel at will and are trapped within their flesh until a certain life span is completed. Every once in a while a mutant Elect is born labeled as a Pulse. Pulses are mutants version of the Electrons and can actually remove the life spark from encapsulated vessels the Elect possess. This doesn't destroy the Elect but makes them stuck for certain periods of time. The period of time depends on the power of the Pulse within these mutated Elect. They are usually killed as soon as they are born. But, in the slums of Neutron, a child was born between a Man and an Elect. The child was given the appellation Electric P. or El. After El seventh birthday suddenly the worlds of Electron and Neutron were combined causing aetherial chaos. As the Ult-Elect search for the cause of the disturbance through possessing Man and killing Protons. Electric must learn to control her powers before she is found and killed.

The following chapter was written as a tie-in with the Going Home (The Survivalist) series of books by Angery American. I submitted it for approval to begin a novel and, alas, it was not chosen. So, here it is, a single chapter. Below is the synopsis. "When an EMP strikes the US, a college professor from the east coast living in Wyoming finds he is terribly unprepared for a life without power. He must deal with death and mayhem from a myriad of bad actors including his own 'beloved' federal government."

It's been 5 ½ years since the Shift first plunged the industrialized world into darkness. Left with only a few old diesel engines and Classic Rock albums recorded on vinyl, the EMPs have forced the survivors to adapt to a world devoid of computers, bereft of a global economy and reeling without Facebook. Chris Jung now leads the Vicious Rabbits Bicycle Mounted Cavalry through the necropolis of the DC Beltway region, protecting Rochelle and her allies in the Orange Pact from bandit raids. Meanwhile, Reverend Rita Luevano struggles to maintain an uneasy peace between the Unitarian majority and the Christian minority in Greater Monticello. The Orange Pact allies are threatened by foes all around. Outnumbered and outgunned, they stand against the rising tide of chaos and tyranny largely through the wily interventions of the intelligence organization known as the Swan, headed by Meredith Jung. But the darkness is closing in on this little slice of sanity in the Shenandoah Valley. Meredith knows it's only a matter of time until the Lambs of God in Lynchburg decide to attack, and when they do, there will be no stopping them. Furthermore, Meredith carries a secret so potentially devastating that it dwarves the prospect of being overrun by religious fanatics bent on their destruction. Rita is called to join Chris and his Bicycle Mounted Cavalry on a mission of utmost urgency that leads them into the heart of darkness: suburban Maryland. Along the way, they discover that nothing is as it seems. Between Meredith's secret and the revelations uncovered in Maryland, Chris, Rita and Meredith find themselves where they would really rather not be, at the center of the vortex where the entire fate of humanity hangs in the balance.
