As if thats bad enough on the day the electricity went out Amelia's mom and sister both died in a car crash. In the meantime Amelia is staying with her neighbors but when her town collapses into chaos Amelia hits the road. Towns all over the country are falling into chaos and you can't trust anyone. But when Amelia meets a stranger on her way to her uncle and aunt's house he ends up being her traveling companion. She doesn't know who to trust but she knows she can't travel the thousand miles to her uncle and aunt's house alone.

Follow along as a Midwestern family build a community for their loved ones after an EMP wipes out the grid. Note from the author- Hi! I am an amateur when it comes to writing and haven't done much research on EMP's so if you're here for authenticity and decent reading, you've come to the wrong place. I just need a niche. When a huge EMP hits Earth, all earths power and water and anything that has anything to do with electricity dies. Doesn't work. Stops. Three 16-18 year olds are affected by this EMP, emotionally and physically. When they meet each other they group up and figure out how to stop and survive the EMP. Will they figure out who set off the EMP? Will they stop it? And most importantly... Will they survive?
