This is a story about a girl, Abby, killing herself. Upon further consideration, this story isn't about Abby at all. It's about her friend, Emily. Emily is a firefighter. She receives a goodbye text from Abby, and is the one to call the cops on her. She is also on the medical/fire crew that comes to Abby's house when the cops feel that she needs to be transported to the hospital. She has to listen to her friend as she tells her to leave her alone and let her die in peace. She has to listen to the EMTs and medics talk about how Abby likely won't survive. She watches the light leave Abby's eyes as she goes unconscious from lack of blood. Emily is back at the fire station. Her shift ended two hours ago, but she is still there. She is sitting in a storage closet, crying and singing a lullaby. Another firefighter, Jared, sacrifices much needed sleep, goes in to her, and is able to offer her comfort. If you ever feel like Abby, think of Emily. That's how everyone would act if you were gone.

A Police Officer, a Supermodel, and the Worst Address Ever Recorded

This is a non fiction story about the murder of my nephew during a mass shooting in 2021 in Tucson, AZ. The story is written from my perspective of the events of that day and the aftermath that followed. My hope is that his story will not fade and to possibly help others dealing with loss. Below are a few chapters to try and get some feedback. I have a lot more written but I guess I need to know if this a project I should continue to work on or not. Helping to raise 2 children and working make time and money a tight commodity.

This is more or less a journal. I start my EMT class next fall (2016) and I'm actually really nervous. I don't want to fail it, and so I'm kinda over studying. I got a cheap, used copy of the textbook, and I'm trying to learn a lot of it before I take the actual class. A lot (a whole heck of a lot) of my friends are EMS, and they all say that I'll love it. But ever since my first EMT friend started talking to me about his work, I've realized that EMS and fire are their own culture. And it's rather beautiful. But anyway, this is basically a journal of things that I'm realizing that I can't stop thinking about because someday, I'll be an EMT too.

On the date of July 9th 2016, Lexi's whole world was turned upside down as a road trip turned fatal when a semi truck hit the car her and her sister were traveling in on their way back home to Chicago. On this same day, it was also Ian Gallagher's first call as an EMT. **FYI - This story portrays Ian as straight. His relationship with Mickey in the show is my favorite, however, I wanted to write from the perspective of a female MC. I completely understand anyone who chooses not read for this reason. Jace Parker, age twenty-six, an Emergency Medical Technician in Baltimore, Maryland, meets a young girl named Aleix Boysfti, who is ten years old, who dies from a sudden death after suffering a cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, things are about to get worse. After Aleix's death, Jace begins to see Aleix as a ghost and haunting him and Jace begins to question himself why he is seeing one of his former patients as a ghost. Therefore, Jace begins to experience symptoms. As well as seeing in his flashback of a psychiatric hospital located south of Baltimore where Jace as well sees in his flashback where young children are being abused and tortured by their nurses and their doctors. However, Jace thinks that Aleix had died from complications of the abuse as Jace thinks that the same symptoms he experienced are the same symptoms the children suffered from while being abused. Jace thinks Aleix had escaped from the psychiatric hospital to save herself. But since Aleix had come back to life as a ghost and giving Jace some mystery to solve, Jace decides to partner with a detective named Ava Knox, age thirty, to shut down the psychiatric hospital. Jace and Ava are shocked to discover the truth behind this evilness of this tragic tragedy of young children. And will the children be saved?
