A group of 7 teenagers and the person that's been bullying them run away from the summer camp they were sent to for the summer and accidentally stumble upon a government experiment. Will the government find them? or will they successfully get away with befriending the monster?

What would you do if you found yourself in the middle of an apocalypse? What would you do if during said apocalypse, you found yourself trapped in a room full of strangers? Strangers who are nothing like you. That's where Alex found themself in. Trapped in a room full of church kids in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Will they leave and jump willingly into the arms of flesh-eating zombies or will they stay and try to make friends? Nothing is ever as it seems. Alex struggles to find their footing in this new world while trying to survive the old one they left behind. It doesn't help that a certain someone keeps panicking every time they mention leaving.
