this is just a short story of what happens to Charlie Gordon after his progress reports stop in the short story Flowers for Algernon. This isn't from Charlie's perspective but from the doctors. This is my take on what happened in the movie Love Actually after Karen (played by Emma Thompson) picks up Harry (Alan Rickman) at the airport. I did not like how it ended. It's a story filled with romance, rated M for language and some intimate situations. I originally wrote this 10 years ago and shared it on Fanfiction.net, but I thought I'd post it here as well. What if it was his blood painting the roads that night and not hers? What if she has never unbuckled her seatbelt, the windshield staying intact? No glass broken resulting in a safe drive home with only shattered hearts left behind on the pavements. What if the road nursed both of their body's instead of just his? What if... In a world of what ifs and uncertainties of what could have happened if the domino effect never occurred. Could Finny and Autumns achieve their happy ending or is there fate together branded to end in tragedy. Fated to stay and die star crossed lovers? I guess we will have to find out. But one thing I can assure you. On August 8th, Phineas Smith did not die.
