<Coming Soon> Just starting highschool, Destin had her whole life ahead of her. Her future was bright. She wanted to graduate high school, then go to college to get her bachelors in business, before going corporate. Nothing in her life had ever seriously gone wrong. She had a family who loved her, friends, and her pet dogs Peanut and Blossom. But just by one step, her whole life flipped upside down. One step out her door, one step to answer her phone, one step towards the mailbox, one step away from the mailbox, and one step towards a strange car with a familiar face. Just by those one steps, she lived in hell. Her sheltered childhood could have never prepared her everything that would happen to her. She cried for an angel to save her, but no one came. Her only release was the little window above her forever prison.

Hey guys!! This is my first book I'm posting......and I wrote it when I was , like, 13/12 so don't expect too much😉 And it's a short story.... I'll try to upload a real one soon😊 Lavinia is being sold. Her master has had enough of her outbursts. Usually, she's a quiet and obedient slave, but she has her moments. The moments that got her here, about to get on a ship and sail to Rome. She didn't, by far, like living with Abdul Montgomery, but she sure didn't want to get sold in Rome. The biggest nightmare of any slave. But, things take an unexpected turn when a huge storm hits and they have to anchor on a strange island for the night. She wakes up to see the ship slipping away in the distance. At first she rejoices, she's free! Her relief is short lived though, she soon finds out that the island is inhabited......by other people. Will she once again be kept in chains?
