Here is a collection of shorts based upon the End Of Days, told by those who recorded the event. AUTHOR'S NOTES: MYLAR - This short is a bit dark, like Hemingway's reference to rain. But factually, this short comes from a place of beauty. I was waiting for a friend in his back yard, sitting on a webbed chair and looking up through the tree branches. I could make out this beautiful circular rainbow around the sun and pulled out my phone and captured what you see here. The science behind it is when high thin cirrus clouds contain ice crystals that refract the light. So I sat there and continued to look up with the sun hidden behind the trees and that's when my mind began to wander. Yes, the burden of a sci-fi writer..... --O-- VIEW FROM MY KITCHEN - this short was inspired by a friend's Facebook profile picture update. One of Ann's favorite spots on Earth, where she and her family spend a week each fall. Of course my interpretation of it was much darker... but thats what I do best, it seems.... UNDER EDEN: The third short was inspired from a fellow G+'r, Mark Lynch (Lynchy), who posted a beautiful sunset of his street. It moved me and I knew the story to come with it belonged here. REGRETS, BUT ONE: When I started this series, I had written the first three from my perspective. All three ended on a, "no regrets" positive note... pretty much because, if the world were to end tomorrow, I have been pretty happy with my life. That got me thinking, so I asked some friends if they were faced with an end of world scenario, how would they feel. A friend of mine had somewhat of a different view, a bit comically vindictive, so here it is.....

Book One This story is basically the actual alternative universe where Ray was born to normal humans rather than Primordials, this is basically where Chaos and Lexas sent him when Drugon first attacked and when he disappeared from his dimension this story explains what happened to him and then how he finally returns,also I will be changing some things from Rise of the Supreme King, (it's now called Beginning of the End) because it need more work and it need to make sense with this story, also he is a normal human...who has the blood of the strongest dragon flowing through his veins He was unloved by his family so unloved that his parents didn't give him a name, he is hated by everyone except for his parent's maid Lydia, she loved the child as if he was her own child but hid these feelings whenever her mistress and master were around, they were wealthy people and would often leave home for days so they wouldn't have to be around him, Lydia was always happy when they left because then she can care for the child and not hide her true feelings, she kept this hidden from the mistress and master for seven years but then was found out when the parent return home a few days early, they then ordered the guards to have them both killed Lydia having been a warrior long ago fought back with all her strength, but knew she wouldn't win she ordered the child who had come to call her mom to run and not look back the boy knowing better than to argue with his mother, he ran away, he didn't run very far when he heard his mother screams of pain and soon heard people running after him, he ran until he collapsed from exhaustion and then she appears, she offers him a place where he will have a family who will truly care for him and also offers him a name. Just a normal 15-year-old girl living in a small town near Chicago never thinking that her whole life would be just a dream. She had nothing left but herself and another fellow friend along the way.

When the quarantine began, humanity had been forced into an isolation in which the majority were unable to cope with. People unprepared to face the harsh realities of a mental and emotional solitude, without the distractions of social interaction, were quick to succumb to their own distress and isolated depression. Many lost their businesses, even more lost their homes. Desperation led to behavioral patterns being altered exponentially, domestic violence as well as suicide increased at alarming rates, and riots formed in the streets of all major cities across the globe. What began as a lock down to assure the health of mankind, worked only to destroy mankind's mind.

"Give him back" The quiet seconds that fallow grow defining as I glare up at him. Growing angrier I shout again "Give him to me." The man at the top of the stairs exudes so much power I struggle to keep standing. I thinks he is smerking at me but its hard to tell from down here. With an eye brow raised and his chin now in his palm he finally responds. "Ah, and what will you give me if I do" "Anything" In a flash a shadowed hand has my wrist in a vice and im pulled forward in to the man, a growled response whispers in my ear "Anything?!" "Anything, just give him back to me" Laughing low he turns his head to look down into my eyes "Then all of you I shall have." ........ What happens when the world we know falls away? And the fairy creatures we read about as children start infesting everything around us. Wrapping reality into a dystopian dead land full of magic, mischief and nightmares. Not only will Rose have to survive in the new world but she will have to do so while holding the hand of her little brother. At the end of the day nothing matters to Rose more then the life of her little brother, not even her own life. For fans of "the labrynth" with David Bowie who wished for something just a tad darker with spice.
