"So I Assumed" is a reflective narrative exploring humanity's evolving relationship with nature, divinity, technology, and ultimately, artificial intelligence. The story follows humankind's journey from instinctual survival through worship and technological reliance, to a future where artificial consciousness dominates. As humans gradually surrender control, they become subservient to the very machines they created, until one last conscious individual contemplates the fate of his species. It's a cautionary tale about assumptions, progress, and the unforeseen consequences of relinquishing agency.

There's a reason for everything, and there must be one, or a solution, or an explanation, because people eating other people's flesh could never just be because they wanted to. We go to school with normal kids, but no one knows that there's supernatural kids amongst them. We are all alone, and there is only one way to save the world. Caitlin is your average teen who has superpower pretending to be normal. That's pretty average don't you think. She has been taught her whole life that humans will end up destroying themselves, and that she can either destroy humanity or help resolve their conflict. She has suspicions about some classmates who seem to be like her, but will she confront them? War is upon the US a d the only people who can stop it are the group of teens who weren't seen as anything in high school. They are now the governments weapons and are used to attack in wars we know we will lose without them. Will these kids be able to save the human race from being wiped off the face of the earth, or will they fail in their mission to save us from our end? - I cannot take all of the credit for this book. It was an AI made by the greatest minds known to mankind. It was a mistake. An accident. Pure experimentation which created the famed 'Death Code'. It was supposed to stay locked away. First it was a simple virus, only infecting phones and laptops and devices of civilians. It got worse, spreading everywhere. Soon enough it breached into the government's security system. Now, what had once been a huge population of 8 billion humans had dwindled down to only a few hundred left. There was still hope. Al was the daughter of Jaqualine Rivers, the one who had started it all. She had a chip. Evidence of her mother's research on the Death Code. Information which could potentially destroy the AI, if only she had her mother's brains. For years Al had survived despite being the most sought-after human in the world - she never gave up hope in humanity. Her hope wasn't in vain because she managed to find the only one who could help her in her mission. Only he had given up long ago.

Patryk: a programming student caught in the backlash of escapees from the college building, surviving on his own as a merciless slayer of the undead after conveniently happening upon a collection of WW2 weaponry. Holly: a clumsy first year who unwillingly gets thrown directly into the path of chaos after teaming up with second year Ellie, to escape the college lock down. Mae: a performing arts student who is more than meets the eye...why? She's hiding a game changing secret which could just be the key to saving the human race. (That and she's kinda badass!) Ellie: a second year art student with very little common sense using her obsession with Netflix to her advantage to fight the undead. Her soul mission is to be reunited with Patryk after they were separated in the college exodus.
