MC was walking down the woods when he heard a scream. A scream for help. The MC was considered a good person so he went to check it out. This was just thought up by me, I am new to creating novels so please criticize me in the comments.

Adelheid Verena was quiet and observant. Her parents divorced when she was still a child, a fracture that left lasting scars on her mental wellbeing. Her dearest mother and step-family did little to ease the burden. Growing up, she was always the second choice-overlooked, sidelined. Her birthdays were never celebrated; instead, they were quietly replaced with her step-sister's preferred birthday. A bitter revelation, indeed. Then, one day, a letter arrived from Germany, announcing that her father was coming to the UK for a visit. Yet events unfolded far differently than she had imagined. That single visit altered the course of her life entirely.
