Somehow, without warning, my powers evolved. They became stronger. Too strong. To the point that I can't use it. At least, not willingly. They activate on their own and I can't do anything to stop it. The result: chaos. Not just on the environment, but also on the spirits. I don't know what it is about my powers, but it triggers something in them. They either go on a rampage or develop a bloodlust for me. Including those I thought were a friend. Among them is the worst of all: Rezo. The last person I'd expect to be hounded by. He's no low-level spirit. He has good reasons to take me. And it's not because he's in love with me - do I look like an idiot? In the end he's a spirit, too. Of course, he has the same intentions like the rest, who doesn't like a powerup? Sure, he won't kill me, but making me a bride isn't a better option. Just because we have history doesn't mean we have a future. It doesn't matter. Better to choose him than be eaten.
