In the town of Malapayao, Engkantos are believed to be living with the people once. The Engkantos come out from their hiding place every time the full moon festival arrive to celebrate. People are not afraid to socialize with them because people are very grateful to the Engkantos for prospering their crops. Gold ornaments also were occasionally given to worthy people. This relationship of Engkantos and Malapayo people has been a big secret of the barrio for a long time. But when the foreigners came from the neighboring town and they discovered the gold on Mount Kasaga, the Engkantos no longer showed up to the people. It was also difficult for them to grow their crops. Although the difficulty to grow crops didn't become a big problem because the town of Malapayao gradually became progressive and became the center of mining in the entire province .Crop fields can no longer be seen anywhere. Malls and other tall buildings were now standing on those once fertile lands. With the economic development of Malapayao, people are also slowly forgetting their rich culture. Magical Engkantos were forgotten and became a mere myth. Sometimes parents use stories of engkantos to scare their children and would prevent them from going to the forest near the barrio. But there is a family that still believes in Engkantos are not just legends, and in fact real according to their oldest matriarch. This is Aya's family.

Lycan: Yellow eyes (Can Control their transformations. Attack whatever.) Wendigos: Silver eyes (Very strong. Eats human flesh. Silver is like acid to wendigos and burns them.) Me and my brother and sister are dhampyrs. A crossbreed of a vampire and a human. We are the first and ONLY surviving dhampyrs. The other dhampyrs that were born were killed on sight.

He was slightly scary at first, But When I found out he can turn into human to blend and protect his family, He was hella good looking.
