Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases that contain a kireji, or "cutting word", (phonetic units similar to syllables) in a 5, 7, 5 pattern and a kigo, or seasonal reference. There is a major difference in Japanese and English syllables and unfortunately I do not know Japanese. So here is something brand new! Have fun reading some English Haikus which only follow the three line pattern! 🤪 Also, while Japanese Haikus mainly focus on the theme of nature, I have tried writing them on various themes.

I am going to publish my random creative writings in this book: Apart from other kinds, this will also include my rookie attempt at writing Haikus following the appropriate "Mora"s in English and Tamil :)
