The doctor answered, "I'll give you my sight, So you will see the world in someone's eyes." The teacher said, "I'll offer you my wisdom, So you will build knowledge in your kingdom." The last one who talk only seldom, Stared at the stars with a lonely smile, "I am a poet, and I will not lie, I cannot give you a sight, nor I can be wise, I have nothing in my life but sadness only, So I offer you the RHYMES OF MY MELANCHOLY."

My first attempt at poetry writing. Blame the pandemic! The first four poems were written during the global lockdown. Stressful times bought out pent-up thoughts and emotions, and luckily, I was able to pour them out in a constructive manner. Yes, it may have grammatical errors or may even sound gibberish. 🙏🙈 There is the sudden urge, i catch onto a word or a thought and then my mind doesn't rest until i develop the idea and write something sensible (well most of the time i try to sound like one). That is how i wrote these poems. Still on the path of learning, so if there are any mistakes please do let me know and am willing to learn!
