"You've gotten away from me one too many times," Tora breathed against my neckline, his lips moving slowly-deliberately teasing me.
"It's not that-" I felt his teeth graze my collarbone, neither harsh nor soft.
I couldn't help as the soft sign left my lips.
"You have been avoiding me. Since the costume party," he called me on my bullshit, and for some reason, it sent a jolt through my core.
"This is a warning. If you keep avoiding me, I won't be easily forgotten," I felt his hands slip between my thighs, and in a quick, sharp motion, he pulled them open and stepped between them. "I'll make sure you don't forget, I'll make your a dripping mess every time you see my face. That's a promise, princess."
I could feel my face betraying me, shifting with the storm of thoughts racing through my mind, heat rising to my cheekbones.
And then, unexpectedly, I said something I never thought I could-or would...
"You promise?" I gave him a smile that whispered promises before I even spoke.
