Magic resides within everything. It can only be harnessed by certain races, however. Humans are incapable of using the magic that dwells in them while Witches have unlimited power. A third race, Aethers, are also capable of using magic. Although they are not as capable as Witches and are more similar physically to humans, they can still achieve incredible feats. Nearly all Witches show hostility towards both Humans and Aethers. So much so that a force of Humans and Aethers who are known as "Raiders" was created in order to exterminate hostile Witches. A former assassin, a tech genius, a skilled swordsman, and an ex-Raider are all brought together by Reina, a Witch and the only labeled S-Rank threat to humanity and Aetherians. This strange group of individuals will protect their newfound pseudo-family no matter what it takes.

Posted on 8 November 2015 (Stink blurb but oh well) ---------- I kind of got the idea of this book by Rachel craw's 'Spark'. It has kind of the same concept with the three groups of enhanced humans but I've put in my own plot/ideas etc. I highly recommend reading 'Spark' if you haven't - because WOW I love the book so much - just so much effort has been put into it and it's an incredible new and original YA novel. Also it's a trilogy and Rachel is so cool like seriously, check her out on Goodreads. (Also from NZ!).

What would happen if Superman landed on Earth? No, not the Earth you're thinking of. I'm talking about an Earth very similar to 616, in other words, the main world of Marvel. I've seen very few of these that I like so I decided to try my hand at making my own. Superman belongs to DC Comics. The world of Marvel belongs to Marvel. The overall plot for this story belongs to me.
