How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.

Evelyn is the daughter of General Lamarque. She lived in France when she was little but then moved to England because her mother wanted her to be educated. By the time she was 21, her mother had been murdered from an intruder. Evelyn was then sent back to her father's house back in France. A lot had changed in France when Evelyn was gone and she couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor. During a street mishap was when she met the revolutionary schoolboys and their leader, Enjolras.

A bunch of crappy, cliched, overdone Enjoltaire one-shots because I don't know when or how to stop myself and they make me happy Updates whenever I feel like it/whenever I have a new one. :)

"I'm Enjolras, nice to meet you." Enjolras' eyes narrowed and a small smirk formed on his lips. But Grantaire could see he was in a lot of pain. "I know who you are. You're the kid who always gets in trouble. Well, I have to confess, good job on this one." Grantaire tried to joke but he was still nervous as hell. "You're Grantaire, right?" He was surprised the boy even knew his name and he responded with a kind nod. "Yes. That would be me, R, Grantaire, whatever. But what the hell happened to you, you don't just get robbed inside of school?" --------------------------------------------------------------- Or, an E/R modern school AU where E is in trouble and R helps him, I guess. (I'm sorry I'm not good with summaries...) Please know BEFORE you read this: this fic contains light swearing and a lot of blood. Don't read it unless you're okay with that. Other then that, enjoly!
