The princess of France falls in love with a young revolutionary called Enjolras. A Les Mis fanfiction

Evelyn is the daughter of General Lamarque. She lived in France when she was little but then moved to England because her mother wanted her to be educated. By the time she was 21, her mother had been murdered from an intruder. Evelyn was then sent back to her father's house back in France. A lot had changed in France when Evelyn was gone and she couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor. During a street mishap was when she met the revolutionary schoolboys and their leader, Enjolras.

The streets were in complete and utter chaos. People were screaming and running about, and furniture was tumbling from the windows like a violent hailstorm. He could hear the people sing, but his heartbeat was not echoing the drums. He had an important decision to make. He knew that his choice would be the difference between life and death. Or maybe he would die either way. This is the tale of Babet, a side character in Les Misérables. You will meet his younger brother, who opposes him during the revolution. She grew up on the streets. He grew up in a palace. How can two paths converge? He was ignorant and afraid to love or care, but one interaction changed everything. Enjolras knows it's the end of the line when his friends have all been killed and he alone remains, standing defiant against the National Guard. He was prepared to die for his friends and countrymen. Of course, he was joined by Grantaire in his last moments, holding his hand as they were both shot. Enjolras knew he was dead. That was, until he wakes up in a bed that is not his, in a room that is not his, and in a time period that is definitely not his. His old friends are alive and well, but Enjolras seems to be the only one who remembers their failed revolution. Or: Enjolras is shot at the barricades on that day in 1832, but wakes up in the future with no memorizes of a life there.

Anna, Marius' cousin runs away from home and finds herself in the ABC cafe 1 month before the barricades arise. Soon she becomes one of the most known people there with her humor. But she does something, that she doesn't mean to. She breaks the leader of the revolution. Enjolras thought the only the ever loved and will love is the freedom of France. But when she comes, he is not so sure.....

Due to budget cuts at the university, Enjolras and his corral group are forced to rent a new research vessel to take them out to an isolated atoll. But how will he ever survive 5 months on a boat with that one crew member who refuses to leave him alone and also smokes way too much.

'Anyone who knows me knows about my obsession with Les Misérables. In my opinion, it's the best musical of all time. Sometimes I wish I could be a part of it. Obviously, I don't mean the actual revolution, I'm not naive. But at least they had something to fight for. I wish I had something to fight for.' Somehow, young (Y/N) (L/N) finds herself in the middle of her favourite musical. Most people would think this was a dream come true, however for (Y/N) it most certainly wasn't. Of course she's fascinated by this place, however, she would never choose to be here. Now, she is trapped in 19th-century France. To make matters worse, her father is Inspector Javert meaning she will have to work 1000x harder to get the Les Amis de l'ABC to trust her.

"I-" Enjolras' face is a mask of genuine confusion. It's captivating. Grantaire turns away. He can't do this. He had prepared for the disaster that would be the "Why Are Meetings In a Place With an Open bar a Bad Idea" discussion. He wasn't, <i>wasn't</i> prepared for <i>this.</i> There's a reason Grantaire doesn't go to the Les Amis meetings anymore. His abstinence is only part of it. ――― I needed a positive character growth for Grantaire. With this oneshot, I'm giving it to him. This is a meant as a study of "what would have to happen to set R on a better life path" and you can see I have a lot of feelings on the matter. Not only the alcohol addiction stands in Grantaire's way of making something of his life - his view of the world, his obsession with Enj and his own struggles with mental health are also important factors. This oneshot is me giving him the starting point to work on those things and recreate them into something healthier. _____ TW: a bit of swearing, a bit of French, a bit of intense dialogues :'3

Did I write The Hunchback of Notre Dame? If I did, Disney would have changed so much more to make it kid-friendly.
