in which a group of misfits who are each extraordinarily angry about the state of the government have quirky misadventures together. les amis modern sit-com au! a cross between Friends and Parks and Recreation many people on tumblr and other various social media platforms have had this idea, I just kind of made it happen, so the idea isn't exactly "mine" per se, but there have been so many people with the same idea that I don't know who to give credit to. the characters of "les amis" come from the book les miserables by victor hugo. however, the plot and a few side characters all belong to me.

What will happen if the events on the barricade go slightly differently? When an unlikely pair are drawn to one another? Or will it be too late? ENJONINE I'm not Victor Hugo (or any deceased French guy!) so unfortunately I don't own these characters or the awesome story I took them from - all I own is the story I'VE written. I don't own the picture on the cover either - I just think it works with the story... This is my first multi-chapter story on here, so I hope it's ok! Any constructive criticism is welcomed - please enjoy! :-)

Enjonine AU

Enjolras was never one to pay attention to girls. But a chance encounter in the streets of Paris stirs something new inside him with a girl who would never love him back. Éponine thought she would always be in love with Marius. But when Marius meets Cosette, she starts to find love in somebody surprising. If only they knew how they felt about each other...

How sweet it is to die for one's fatherland, or "Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori," as said in the famous Latin poem by Wilfred Owen. Eponine, Courfeyrac, and Enjolras, three modern day teenagers who know little to nothing about war, find themselves caught up in a heart-wrenching battle of love, tears, and pain during their senior year of high school. Courfeyrac, a sweet, sensitive boy whose best friends happen to be the geniuses of the school, often feels overshadowed by Enjolras' good-looks and intellect. However, he finds solace in his good friend Eponine, whom he has secretly loved since the day he laid eyes upon her. Enjolras, an intelligent young man who yearns to join the army and die for his country, suddenly begins to lose focus on school when he realizes that he, too, has become taken with Eponine. What these boys do not know is that Eponine harbors a few secrets of her own, and her life is about to become more complicated than anyone could possibly have imagined. All three of them will have to learn the bittersweet taste that war and fighting bring, and soon they will all be called to make difficult choices and sacrifices. Will they give up on the battle of love? Or will they all learn how sweet it really is?

When Eponine and Enjolras see eachother for the first time, they are in love. Yet still knowing little about eachother they will do everything they can to meet again- even risking their lives. This is my story for getting bad writing out my system.

Eponine Thenardiare us raising her 2 younger siblings when her parents are arrested. She nineteen and barely getting by when she starts working at a cafe her whole world is turned upside down.

She was a miserable wretch, a daughter of thieves. Abused, unseen, and unloved. He was the fearless leader of an awakening rebellion. Lonely, frustrated, and misunderstood. For those of us who treasure Victor Hugo's drama "Les Miserables," how would the story have changed if a certain Revolutionary leader had seen a young gamine in a different light? And what if some of Les Amis survived to face the aftermath of the barricade? This untold story of friendship, hope, courage, loss, and the ultimate healing power of love is not a tale of what was, but of what might have been.

Enjolras was utterly shocked when he opened up the door to his shared apartment at a very late hour on a cold, rainy night to find Eponine standing there soaked and shivering. Although it really wasn't that shocking. Inspired by the Bob Dylan song Make You Feel My Love

Proud, immovable Enjolras writes a letter of confession to the Eponine. Has quite short chapters. I do not own Les Miserables or any of the characters.
