The streets were in complete and utter chaos. People were screaming and running about, and furniture was tumbling from the windows like a violent hailstorm. He could hear the people sing, but his heartbeat was not echoing the drums. He had an important decision to make. He knew that his choice would be the difference between life and death. Or maybe he would die either way. This is the tale of Babet, a side character in Les Misérables. You will meet his younger brother, who opposes him during the revolution. Enjolras absolutely despises Grantaire. That's a fact Grantaire can live with, however -- or, at least, he could. Now, however, he's discovered these neat things called painkillers, and for some deluded reason, he thinks he can use them for emotional pain. Requests are open! I will accept any level of angst. There is no such thing as too much angst for me to write. Who doesn't want their favorite characters to go through severe emotional trauma because something happened to you or the other person included in their ship? Literally, if someone requests it I will make a preference and throw you in a meat grinder for your barricade boy to watch. I promise I'm okay, I'm just an angsty writer. I will NOT write smut or a breakup preference. Why do you wanna break up with one of these guys? I couldn't. Besides those two things, I will do everything in my power to fulfill your desires. I should mention that I write with the assumption that the reader is a girl by default. If you are a male, please let me know and I will post versions of the preferences for male readers, as well. Not the last time I checked, no. Am I French? Well, a little, but for the most part, no. Did I write Les Misérables? Let's put it this way: If I did, things would have ended much, much differently. Did I write The Hunchback of Notre Dame? If I did, Disney would have changed so much more to make it kid-friendly. By these circumstances, you should in no way, shape, or form confuse me for Victor Hugo.

Grantaire just came back from a long trip to Paris to visit his family. Grantaire has always been infatuated with his dear friend Enjolras. Though Enjolras does not know and there is a deep dark secret he hides that no one knows.

You're the kid who always gets in trouble. Well, I have to confess, good job on this one." Grantaire tried to joke but he was still nervous as hell. "You're Grantaire, right?" He was surprised the boy even knew his name and he responded with a kind nod. "Yes. That would be me, R, Grantaire, whatever. But what the hell happened to you, you don't just get robbed inside of school?" --------------------------------------------------------------- Or, an E/R modern school AU where E is in trouble and R helps him, I guess. : Enjolras/OC : Prequel & Sequel to 'The Night That Ends At Last' People have asked frequently for the story behind the romance between Joleigh and Enjolras. Well, this is the story where I'll tell you how they got together and the difficulties they faced in doing so. Also, the ending to "TNTEAT" was quite a shock and my brain wasn't very satisfied at that! Therefore, I will also write what WOULD have happened if a SERIOUS event did not take place. If you haven't read 'The Night That Ends At Last' you better do so or else this may not make very much sense!
