Originally, the parents were just going to drop off Olive, and on the way home, Olivia was to be dropped at an insane asylum for the "voices" she had been hearing. It was Miss Peregrine who discovered Olivia's peculiarity, but just because she was peculiar too, didn't mean she still wasn't outshined by her sister. I DON'T OWN ANY PART OF MPFPC!!! I am very sorry to say that this is made based off of the movies as I've not read all of the books yet. Yes, a little, not much, as Miss Peregrine only took in the peculiars that really needed her.
