Yo-kai watch x Danganronpa 絶望の時計 After the events of the Danganronpa saga and the reception of Shuichi and his friends, the Kibougamine Academy began a project that consisted of recruiting young people to teach them what hope really is (In other universes), and this time, it was Springdale's turn (Yo-kai watch Universe), everything seemed to be going perfectly, that hope would rule forever, But, on a night of misfortune, Ultimate Despair was resurrected.

Ultimate Movie director Masanori Tachibana is going to Mirai Yume academy where he believes his dreams may come true. His friends Yuu Noshioka the ultimate hitch hiker, and Shiori Kinoshita ultimate novelist, are joining him. But they are abducted into the school's gym and meet their classmates who also were abducted. A talking black and white bear tells them that the only key to freedom is to murder each other. Whoever kills somebody, they will become the killer to everybody. Masanori must form new bonds and find out why who killed who, and escape the hell of Monokuma's curse of despair.

Where was she when the Killing Games of the 78th Class and the Future Foundation were initiated? Sakkakami Shiori appeared out of thin air and soon enough, she was acknowledged as the best writer to ever exist, having published moving stories of human lives. The publishing company arranges a fan-signing event and this opportunity was taken by a few of her classmates to have a little reunion with her. But there's something else that's going to reunite with them. And it's just something nobody would want during meet-ups.
