All this time where was she? Where was the Ultimate Writer when the 77th Class turned into Ultimates of Despair? Where was she when the Killing Games of the 78th Class and the Future Foundation were initiated? Sakkakami Shiori appeared out of thin air and soon enough, she was acknowledged as the best writer to ever exist, having published moving stories of human lives. The publishing company arranges a fan-signing event and this opportunity was taken by a few of her classmates to have a little reunion with her. But there's something else that's going to reunite with them. And it's just something nobody would want during meet-ups.

During their time together, Hime encourages Izuru to smile for the first time. Could it be possible to make someone like him smile?

Nozomi Maki is invited to the super-exclusive school, Hope's Peak Private Academy. Fifteen more students entering the legendary school as well. To be accepted as an official student in the 'Academy of Hope' there were two qualifications, "You must be currently enrolled in a high school" and” You must super-excel at your field of expertise". In general opinion, the graduating school leads to a certain successful life in the world. At least, that was what Nozomi was told. But in the end, that ‘Academy of Hope’ was the complete opposite of what the name read. Now, Nozomi Hotaru ‘Super High School Level ???’, is fighting for survival in a despair-filling battlefield. Welcome to the Academy of Despair.
