Book 2 of the Intertwined series. This story contains themes of depression and mental illness, violence, and sex references. With Roara and Loki gone, and the Ascendency's shattered pieces making trouble, the friendships forged between the Avengers and their new recruits are being tested. But there seems to be a new problem. Odin and Gaea have concocted a plan that seems to be causing as much trouble to the team as possible. Is all lost for the lovers, Loki and Roara? Has their story ended as abruptly as it started or will their passion still be a force to be reckoned with? Aditi's powers have taken on a mind of their own, pushing her away from the people she loves, and into new and dangerous territories. Alina's life is not going to plan. From relationship troubles to having to make a choice between the Avengers and her own life, nothing seems to be logical or simple. She has to decide, and yet the Universe keeps pulling her in different directions. Miriam has woken up from a coma that has left her without the use of the right side of her body, a parting gift from the Ascendency. How long will it take for her to crack, and who does she feel is to blame? Medusa is an assassin. It's what she knows and it's what she's good at. But her new mission is one that will set her on a very different path, yet she doesn't even know who gave it to her.

Last night, "Amy" Merton, child of Mr. Cole Merton, famous car dealer, went missing, along with friend Albert Fordham, after going to Amy's yard to retrieve Amy's encyclopedia. Is it just a coincidence, or is this oddly similar to what happened to another Nightjar? "Sad to say," Cole Merton said, "[much as] my wife won't agree, Amy may have been kidnapped by the same gang who took our eldest. And [I regret saying this] that gang of psychos that experiment on people could've been behind both. The [one in the] next city's papers? . . . more on page 3 ~•~ <I own only my own characters (which is to say, a lot, 'cause I'm so sorry but this alters the storyline A LOT ^.^) But this wonderful inspiration for the idea itself--the wonderful and spooky world of FNAF--came from Scott Cawthon!!!>

Cora is proud of her reputation of player. She has built it up since ninth grade is isn't planning on changing in her last year of high school. But when a new guy enters her school with the looks of a god, Cora is determined to get his attention before her arch enemy the beautiful Celia Jones does. Having been and caught many boys, Cora thinks this will be an easy job, but when Cora finds out that the new guy cares more about maintaining a good grade and having a girlfriend who isn't a complete slut, she has to somehow find a way to hide her strong reputation as player. To make things even more impossible Cora soon finds out that the brother of this new guy is the same guy that she first ever broken the heart of. Will her secrets still stay safe?
