Lesley, an eighteen year old girl is on her senior year at an American high school. When she graduates she plans on meeting her dream as an art student in the notorious "swinging London." Immediately overtaken by the mod scene she soon becomes close to a new bands turns into a "face" in the sixties.

Keith and Kenleigh met in school, and he became her best friend, her bodyguard, and her shoulder to cry on. The pair caused much trouble in school, until Keith dropped out. Kenleigh was alone in school. Of course, they were still friends, possibly closer than ever. Kenleigh's dad pressures her to do well in school, and hates that she wants to be a musician. He thinks that taking away her records and guitar will stop her, but she goes with Keith to a local music store to play guitar, while he plays drums. When Kenleigh's father finds out, he gets so upset that Kenleigh quits school and moves in with Keith. As Keith and Kenleigh take care of each other, Kenleigh feels herself falling for Keith. Will Keith feel the same? Can Kenleigh teach Keith how to love before her dreams break her own heart?

Emma moves from the bustling city of Edmonton to the small town of Entwistle. What will happen?
