Ephemeral; lasting for only a very brief moment. Part one of the Hiraeth trilogy. (Ephemeral, Druxy & Elysian) Torn between feelings, friends, love and a strong feeling of destiny. A young boy meets an Angel in the woods, and years later still remembers the warmth of his touch. It turns out he has a bigger meaning in the uprising war between 'good' and 'evil' than anyone had thought. Will he fulfill his destiny? Will he follow his heart? Which side will he choose?

Nothing lasts forever. Even we, humans, turn to ashes of hope or buried with grief. I'm alive only to figure out what love tastes like or to see if life really is worth the battles. Here's how everything started to make sense. I do believe in eternity, yet nothing lasts forever, so I call it ephemeral.

I am getting weary with winter, so I wrote this poem.
