This kind of just came to me randomly and thought it would make a nice story. Hopefully you guys and girls like it. I think it might be a good movie in the future and the setting is in my elementary school during class so like around the morning.

Memoirs of a Lesser Mage is the short story prequel to an upcoming fantasy novel titled "Memoirs of a Mage". Tresher is a lesser mage, the only lesser mage still alive under apprenticeship of the High Magi Morien. Three decades ago,Tresher is sent out into the world to learn of it ways. Instead, he becomes a professional assassin, making great headway with his shapeshifting, but all these changes when he finally finds someone that can track him despite or because of his magic. Now, on pain of death its time for Tresher to go home and he has a gift. Hopefully his homecoming won't be the death he's worked so hard to avoid.
