A series of sun flares, powerful enough to leave the world in darkness, causes a mutation in a strain of ebolavirus. Now airborne, the virus spreads through Central Africa and leaves survivors in complete isolation. 4 months later, in the now-deserted city of Kinshasa, a CDC epidemiologist develops a cure, and must make his way across the continent towards the sea, in the hope of getting in contact with civilisation.

With the Coronavirus Epidemic spreading panic throughout the nation, I decided to post a writing challenge on my Twitter Page to hep us all cope with our fears and frustrations. The following short story was my submission to my writing challenge.

Aiden Ferrel had forgotten most of the things he knew about his life, including his past tortures around people who he knew by then was significant throughout. When by that time he had a commision to film a document about the hardships and sacrifices of medical workers around the current pandemic, fragments of memories had gone through him- All that is enough to infuriate him. As he went closer to them, he had a feeling of sentiments running throughout - a feeling that will no longer sustain himself. "Let us create blissful memories and I'll capture it with my all my heart... before everything will collapse."

This is a true story (but slightly exaggerated) about what is happening around the world right now. The silent yet deadly COVID-2019 virus. Some events and numbers in this story are NOT REAL so do not panic or take my word for it.

Everything happened so quickly. One day, I was eating pizza with my best friends, the next, there's a sudden epidemic. Every channel on the television, every station on the radio was talking about how dead bodies in morgues and hospitals were coming back to life. Scholars were trying to explain what was happening, but everyone knew they didn't know. The government sent out military forces, but they quickly died by the feasters. One bite was almost like instant death. Once you were bitten, you closed your eyes, died, but then came back to life. You were just like them until someone put you out of your misery by brain damage. The funny thing about it all was that all of this was happening in only one state, New York. The rest of the United States, and the rest of the world was fine. No one understood what was happening at the time. Now, it's been five years. There's no power. Everyone dear to me was either permanently dead, or a feaster. I was all alone, with nothing to my name but a couple bottles of water, and a bloody hammer.

All across the world from Italy to the US to even Japan, mankind is getting annihilated/destroyed by COVID 19. This is 3 weeks overdue, but it's better late than never right.
