I remember the day I first heard of them. I was driving my van with my mother in the passenger seat. The news channel was playing over the radio. The current story was suddenly cut off and a man's voice crackled over the speakers: "We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news," He began. "A new disease is spreading rapidly all over the world and infecting humans. Nobody is sure what it is; but we know one thing, It was stolen." A new voice came over the radio. "Hello, citizens of California! I'm here with Nicole Bradson, the leading researcher in Virus Studies at Baily University." The man said. "Would you like to tell us about this strange new epidemic?" A panicked-sounding voice came from the woman, she was clearly not pleased. "All I can tell you is to run. This virus was stolen from our laboratory. It was locked up for a very good reason. It is highly contagious and spreads through bodily fluids. You need to run from it. If it's too late to run, lock yourself somewhere safe until rescue teams can find you and escort you to safety. Do not panic." The man with the news crew interrupted her with questions. "Run from what, exactly? What should we perceive as a threat?" The woman paused for a moment as if thinking. "Do not attempt to approach anyone with red eyes. They are infected with the virus." Her voice trembled. This is a diary type thing about my experiences of living through this coronavirus pandemic. I'll mostly be talking about what's going on where I live and how I'm feeling.

Inspiration is something which changes our life. This story is not just my way of expressing gratitude to the selfless people but also a way of making people aware of a deadly virus which is spreading like a wild fire. Since the Shift occurred it’s been the night that spikes my anxiety the most. It’s after the sun sets that my paranoia is at its worst with my senses on high alert focusing in on every sound my ears can possibly pick up. It is in the night when they come out of their hiding places and are on the hunt. They search for a fresh kill and blood, searching for humans to drain dry—searching for us. ___________________________________________________________________ Emma is a seventeen year old nomad that was picked up by Adam and his son Jeremy when she was eight years old. They found her alone surviving off of bugs and hiding at night up in the banisters of an old farm house, where her parents were savagely killed. She was practically raised by them, and travels with them living day by day making best of the hell they live in. This hell is a world when civilization as we know it has crumbled. The government ceases to exist. The night infested with vampires that dwell in the ruins which once were lively towns and cities. And where the remaining human populations take refuge in closed off towns and sections. She lives in the leftover hell of the world that is the result of an epidemic outbreak known as The Shift.

The titans are gone, Peace has fallen over the walled city and many have begun to relax.
