I'm currently 12 and I'm in year 7 at my secondary school. I suffer from absent seizures. I was really scared when I had an absent seizure before anyone knew I had epilepsy but it is normal to be scared

My nonfiction book about my traumatic brain injury (TBI) I suffered in a car crash which resulted in epilepsy at a young age. I was a first-year student at college when I started experiencing nocturnal seizures. I had short term memory loss, extreme fatigue, and lacerations on my tongue. I went from being in the top 3% of my high school to not being able to retain any new information. My mom thought I sounded sick after one phone conversation. That lead to a doctor's appointment who thought I was fine until I had a seizure in the parking lot. I was admitted to the ICU because I had clusters of non-stop seizures for two weeks. I don't remember those two weeks. Since then I've had five brain surgeries.

Kinda just one shots where Tsukki has epilepsy, there will be different kinds of seizures though I'm only an expert on the ones I have, myoclonic.

Life, you have it all planned to a T. And then one day you wake up on the floor of your Freshman Algebra class and realize nothing is ever going to be the same.

I'm Luis. This is my freestyle project, call it anything you want. I am preparing myself for a potential surgery in my right temporal lobe. Appointments, decisions, and testing... It all begins on June 7th, 2018. I thought I'd keep writing this new book while giving it all my heart for myself, and anyone else who can relate on any level. Surgery is on May 6th, 2019. There will be poetry with rhyming, no rhyming, short stories, long stories, reimagined lyrics, and quotes from yours truly. My head aches, and being anti social is my strength. I carry the skill of feeling broken, sometimes with no reasoning. It's time to spill. That being said, I'll be leaking what's in my left temporal lobe. From being taken from her dad and five brothers when she was just five years old. To being abused and brutally trained to kill by her step dad when she was just 7 years old. Her mom dying, causing her to runaway and change her name to not risk being found by her step dad. To her brothers finally finding her when she's fifteen and bringing her back home. Happy ending right? wrong. Shortly after finding out she has a neurological disorder called epilepsy, she is now faced with the fact that she has to find and kill her step dad AKA the man who traumatized her. yet throughout all this she still doesn't know who she is. TW: this book has scenes that may be triggering for some readers such as ABUSE and SEIZURES
