Her entire life, people have treated her like she's fragile, waiting for her to break. This has made her fiercely determined not to let her condition define her. Music and dance have always been her sanctuary, a space where her body and mind feel free. Azzi Fudd, meanwhile, is a star basketball player at UCONN, someone who thrives on control and discipline. She's spent her entire life perfecting her game, learning how to push through pain and keep moving forward. But meeting Emery Carter throws her world off balance in a way that feels terrifying and thrilling at the same time.

His family helps him with pretty much everything from eating to even carrying him if he feels like he's gonna have a seizure, or if he feels too weak from a seizure. But when he moves into the X-factor house and goes on tour with his new bandmates, that role of helpers gets switched to them.
