But in reality the movie goes it's on way, and we as the fans are just grateful that the movie is still phenomenal. well I decided to create a scene with the character Kylo Ren! Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. Could their star-crossed connection be tied to the fate of the galaxy? This is a slow burn! Enemies to friends to lovers. This story continues the arcs and themes beautifully woven through The Last Jedi, as well as the narrative from the previous two trilogies. All plot elements are intended to be canon-compliant through TLJ. This is 100% complete. It was completed in December 2019 on A03 before The Rise of Skywalker was released, so this is not a "fix-it" fic as much as an alternative to Episode IX. This is a dark story. This is my version of the third chapter of the new Star Wars trilogy. I will not change anything that happened in either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. I will uphold the restrictions that resulted from the sad death of Carrie Fisher and will only draw from the deleted scenes or audio from pre-existing Star Wars movies and properties. Whilst I appreciated what Last Jedi was trying to do, I did not actually like it. However, I have no intention of undoing any of the main plot points or revelations that were in it. E.g. Rey will certainly not be a Palpatine. The story will not contain any Reylo. I know, I know: I love it too, but it was really weird seeing it as canon in the Rise of Skywalker. Do not expect it here. I am a big Star Wars fan and will be adding things from as wide a field as possible. All planets will be based on actual places mentioned or visited in the various movies and tv shows. Those loyal to the RESISTANCE are scattered and few. The FIRST ORDER grows stronger. In the midst of it all, Rey and Kylo/Ben's force bond continues to strengthen. Note: This is kind of an Episode 9 fan-fic/story not just Reylo! I know why you're here. JJ really screwed up, huh? And Kathleen Kennedy, and every other nerf-herder at Disney and Lucasfilm. What was the point of this whole trilogy again? That's where I come in.

So after much debate with myself I have finally decided to write down what I think could, and highly likely won't happen but its fun to write anyway what will happen in the upcoming new Star Wars film. You may not agree with my ships but this IS NOT A REYLO story but I may hint just to keep excitement levels up, there will be death, loss, love, fighting (Jedi and X-Wing/ TIE fighters).

"We've passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight." A familiar voice, Luke's, whispers. Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. Let's just pretend that Ben never died (screw you J.J. Abrams) and he lived. He is now a criminal in the eyes of the galaxy and pursued relentlessly by bounty hunters. Rey and Ben go into hiding together in hopes of protecting him, much to Bens disagreement. As secrets of the force and past are unveiled, a fight to save Ben becomes a fight to save a family. Note: I don't own Star Wars or any of the characters in the story. I only own the oc in this story and the plot.

The Resistance has been devastated. Only a few escaped the Battle of Crait, but General Leia Organa believes there are still supporters that will help renew their will to fight. As the last Jedi, Rey is looked up to as the Galaxy's final hope of being free of the First Order. She's the only one who can match Kylo Ren's power, and possibly defeat 'the Jedikiller'. Far in the Outer Rim Territories, Rey begins to train for the upcoming final battle, but as her power grows, so does the pull to the Dark Side. Another temptation grows as well-one she hadn't expected and couldn't have prepared for: love.
