Senator Leia Organa, in her attempts to unify the New Republic has amended the NEW REPUBLIC REFORMATION ACT, a treaty that, if signed, promises to heal the old scars left by the Empire With a new Imperial insurgency beginning on the Industrial Mining planet of JAKKU, Leia sends her brother, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, and his padawan, Ben Solo to investigate these claims of rebellion and attempt negotiations.

Only a few years after the fall of the Empire, Han Solo vanished. He was not seen or heard from for many years. Finally, Han Solo has returned, only to find the galaxy torn by war once again. In his absence the First Order has risen, lead by Snoke. Luke Skywalker has disappeared and Han feels responsible. It is up to him, a young Jedi knight and a scavenger girl to find Luke and restore peace to the galaxy. Cassandra has lived on an unknown planet for all of her life, suppressing her power of the Force. But when the First Order comes and destroys her only home, she must flee to the Resistance and train to become a Jedi. The only problem is that she feels the pull of both the Dark side and the Light, and the pain is unbearable. She wants it to leave but is unsure of what side she is in alliance with.
