Uma is what some would consider a freak of nature-the bastard child of a Venomari and a Human. She was raised an orphan, unwanted due to her unruly appearance. Her habitual rejection fed into her developing anger issues. She became a very violent child, often getting into fights with the other children. She got sick of the bullying and figured she wouldn't ever get adopted, so she broke out of the orphanage one evening at the age of fourteen. She unexpectedly found work at a fight club, making a deal with the owner that, as long as she worked every night, she would be allowed to reside in an old storage room behind the building. She only worked evenings, when most customers were so drunk they wouldn't question seeing a girl with scales in the ring. As years passed, she learned to fight properly and built a presence. It was known among frequent visitors that once she came out, whoever had climbed the ranks in the day would be finished. This idea became so ingrained in her brain that after a particularly brutal loss she got hooked on cigarettes. A loss in the rink meant losing everything. As the years passed, the habitual routines of her job began to take a toll on her. She became dissatisfied and yearned for a life outside of the ring, so what happens when that opportunity comes so suddenly? And that opportunity happens to include four rowdy boys and the fait of all of Ninjago? Will she take it? Even knowing she'll be faced with the truth of who she really is?
