Epona Stories

So, there are some days being me is awkward. Apparently, the day that all of this started, was one of those days. Well, actually, I suppose it started years ago, when my mother left me in the Kokiri Forest and died before telling the Great Deku Tree that I was actually a girl. So I blame her. My name is Linkette, and I guess this is my story.

Many years before the events of Twilight Princess a raider king known as Ganondorf plundered the noble land of Hyrule. However the first part of this story explains the reasons behind Ganon's attacks on the not so innocent Hyrulian people. The second part will eventually lead into a Midlink fanfic. I do not own any Legend of Zelda Characters, or content. Those rights are reserved for Nintendo. A/N: This is my first published story in third person so bear with me as I get used to it. also I did tweak some of the game's details to make the story more interesting and unpredictable. The twilight has receded, and Hyrule is saved... for now at least. Linkette returns home to her home in Orden Village to catch up with her childhood best friend, Ilia. But deep down, the loss of Midna still brings back painful memmories, can the Hero of Twilight ever get a brake from the nightmares that still plague her mind?

You begged for your best friend, Link, to teach you how to ride a horse. After many days of countless begging, he obliged to your request and taught you with Epona. You didn't expect what was to happen with you and him, but you knew you would enjoy it a lot.

A hero. A princess. The Gerudo King. A tale as old as history itself. All three bound by a cursed cycle of destruction that begins and ends and repeats for all of time. The gerudo lived contently in their isolated corner of the world. A time of peace was enjoyed by all inhabitants of Hyrule. The untimely birth of the feared Gerudo King threatened to change that, reseting the cycle of war and destruction once more. This story takes place in a Hyrule most similar to Breath of the Wild's, but is not connected to the plot or characters of that story.

Lost, abandoned, in the midst of the Forest temple. Shes unsure, scared, hopeless, but then it happens, a green figure appears and potrays as her last spark at survival, Her eyes close as shes feels the grasp of another wrap around her, shes fallen asleep. The young girl awakens to find herself in a town know as Kokiri Forest. Confused shes unsure of her surrondings, as she progresses however, she manages to make friends with the town villagers. She feels at home, she gains what she wants to call happiness. The day ends, she awakens one day, only to find out those she trusted abandoned her in her time of need. Unsure where to go she sets off on a trial.. to find her true self.

After Calamity Ganon, Hyrule is now free from all its tragedy. Link, the hero Hyrule has changed once he woke up from his resurrection. The princess of Hyrule remeets Link after his successes of defeating Ganon. Zelda noticed how Link changed, and she wants to get closer to the hero. While Link has changed he still has a little of his personality from 100 years ago, but once he saw the princess he had a sudden feeling to get closer to her. Why? Long after evil was destroyed, the people of Hyrule finally found peace again. Everyone thought that darkness was history. Everyone except for the princess of Hyrule and the Hero. There is now a new prophecy, a dark prophecy that puts everyone at risk, especially the two who believe that evil still lives. An enormous unknown soul of darkness is rising, slowly breaking the bonds that hold it to its limits. The characters don't belong to me, they belong to Nintendo, however the story is from my I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N. As for the critism, BRING IT ON!!! (literally)
