After the magical girls of Equestria passed by, Sunset noticed that she was the only one who didn't age. She tried to talk to Twilight, but the book no longer received messages. Years passed, and the girls continued to age. After stopping a girl named "Opaline" and removing the magic from the geode necklace, she gave it to a student at Cantarlot High School and then disappeared from the city. Twilight, along with Sunny and Sparky (who had actually gotten involved by mistake), tried to help restore magic to the Human Kingdom and save the human Sunny from the deception of this Kingdom, preventing her from reaching the Pony Kingdom.
