Keirnan Hope has dreamed of becoming a star rider since she was born. Well more likely the first time she sat on a horse at the age of two. Keirnan works hard at her stable, riding at least four horses a day and mucking out talks, fields, and cleaning tack. One hundred students are picked each year to be the sixth grade class at Invitational Equestrian Center, an elite equestrian boarding school in Florida. Keirnan is one of the students chosen, and she is so excited to start Middle School at Invitational. And on top of that all, their's drama outside and inside of her riding world. A boy that annoys her to death at first, begins to warm up to her, friendships begin to form in unlikely places, and snarky riders determined to beat her for the national cup, are ready to kill for a spot.. As Athena finds her way in college, she finds herself falling more and more in love with her new horse Apollo. A beautiful black eq hunter horse that is ready to do everything for her.
