Prince Fredrick and Jennifer were the son and daughter from these families that had first met when they were teenagers at the wedding of Princess Margaret and Captain Williams. Jennifer and Frederick steadily grew closer to one another. Jennifer and Fredrick eventually fell in love. But they could not act on their love for one another because of the distance between America and Europe. One was a Prince, the other a Cowgirl.

A wild Arabian in the Colorado Black Forest fields. Unfortunately for Val and any other wild horse who lives there, they're always on the run as people want to capture them and train them. One unlucky day, Val finally gets captured. It keeps getting worse and worse for her. Will things turn around for the young horse? This short story is based on real-life events, however, the story has been modified with fiction. The story is about a woman who loses a dear friend, while holding on to faith in God through grief and healing. I recently came across a writing prompt titled 'Something Doesn't Go According To Plan,' and it was one of the factors that inspired me to write this short story. The title reminded me of the emotional real-life story, and that connection became part of what inspired this story.

All it took was one night to turn their world upside down. A small herd of once pampered show horses set loose on the world. Except they don't want to stay wild, all they want is to get home. It doesn't take long for them to discover that getting home isn't as easy as they thought. Along the way they must battle the elements, hikers, and other threats, but is going home what they really want? Were they even missed?
