Equius is alone at his school. He has no friends, his father and older brother are incredibly strict on him and the other kids at his school believed he made an excellent punching bag. He always refused to fight back even though he could easily beat them all to a pulp. As he fights his way through his every day life, struggling to deal with a slowly developing crush...On a laid back boy named Gamzee. All the while protecting his friend Nepeta and dealing with the school bully Eridan who hides dark secrets of his own.

Weight was always seen as a sign of power in Alternian culture, not exactly changing in the way Earth's culture had. Most seadwellers were absolutely huge, soft, strong, and towering above everybody else. It was seen as normal, to see a fushia-blood with her stomach out of her shirt, who's still able to fight any other troll she wants. It seemed amazing.
