Deep within the realms of the Rhosabel forest a elfling lives. Orphaned by events that happened many moons ago she was left in the care of those who cost her parents their lives. A long forgotten promise, and a long bearded stranger comes knocking on her door, changing her life forever. .... "You're nothing but a coward!" She spat, venom dripping off every syllable. Thorin and his company have made it over the Misty Mountains. They are tired, hungry, and in need of shelter, but now they know they have a Guardian among them there is nothing that can hold them back. Erebor will be reclaimed.

My world falls away as her eyes close. I become numb to everything else, every part of my mind screaming is she dead is she dead is she dead. I lightly brush a strand of soft red hair that has fallen in front of her face, over her eyes. There is a steady flow of blood trickling down her face from a gash on her head, as well as from countless other places, but she looks to peaceful. You can't die. I think to myself, because I seem to have lost the ability to form words. You can't. Vaguely I hear someone call my name behind me. I feel hand grab at me, pressing on my leg, where blood is pouring carelessly onto the snowy ground. They drag me away from her, and I scream her name, the noise so full of agony and pain that I sound like an animal. I try to wriggle myself from their grasp, but my strength is gone, the fight taken out of me. My heart is torn apart, the sky is fading in and out of focus. Fili's face appears, pale and concerned, then Thorin's and Dwalin's. Fili is saying something about her, my Tauriel. Just thinking about her makes me want to break down and sob. Everything hurts like a fire in my body, and I can't breathe. I feel someone tie something around my leg, and that makes me scream, then I am lifted into the air. My head lolls to the side, and I can see her broken body in full view. Then I see the rise and fall of her chest, and my heart stops. She is alive.

NOTE: This starts off at TDOS and ends in BOTFA. Nerissa Waterbearer is a very young elf in Mirkwood. She is the daughter of the great elven king, Thranduil, and little sister to Legolas Greenleaf. Her weapon of choice isn't a bow and arrows. She uses a sword, which her father gave her when she turned 100. Why is her last name waterbearer, you ask? It's because she has very powerful magic in her. She can manipulate water in all different shapes and forms. This is her story and why Legolas never mentioned her in LOTR.

Thorin had given his people a new life in Ered Luin, until one day he came home after a long day at his blacksmith job and found the love of his life missing, and the dwarf prince never saw her again. What will happen when Thorin finds out the woman he loved is still alive with secrets he never knew about her?

Fili x Reader one shot series in which Dwarven and Human love languages and customs are very different and all together confusing.

Everyone knows the story of The Hobbit, that brave little hobbit called Bilbo Baggins who set off on an unexpected adventure with 13 dwarves and a wizard. However, no one knows the full story behind the dwarves. Everyone knows the Lonely Mountain, and the mighty kingdom of Erebor with its mountains of gold. Everyone knows King Thror, his son Thrain, and the most famous of all that line of kings Thorin Oakenshield. The always grumpy and most mysterious dwarf. However, no one knows why this dwarven prince appears so heartless and cold. Everyone knows about the elves, the elves of Rivendell, and those of the Greenwood. However, no one knows that there is so much more going on between elves and dwarves than the feud between Thorin and Thranduil over the mountain. There is so much more than the story of the diamonds that King Thror refused to hand over to King Thranduil and much more than the fact that Thranduil turned his back on the dwarves at the moment they needed him most. Similarly, there is a fact that Legolas and Thorin have known each other for a long time, since before the dwarves were captured in the Greenwood, even before it fell ill and was called Demsterwold. No one, not even the biggest Tolkien fan knows about the little orphan brought to Erebor on a harsh winter's night, but for now I forgive you. Now it is time to tell an entirely new story. A story that took place long before the birth of our hobbit Bilbo, long before the Greenwood fell ill and long before Thorin and his party of 13 dwarves and a wizard showed up on Bilbo's doorstep.
