The door swung open, relieving a hooded figure. The features under the hood softened, her beautiful lips curved into a smile. ''Long time no see... Thorin'' she eyes glowed with a promised. ''You honesty thought you could enter Erebor without me?" she looked meanfully at the dwarves behind Thorin. A silence followed. The guardian of the dwarves was here, and she was out for revenge... A half breed promised to get revenge on her father's death after he was tortured and killed that was shortly followed by her brothers lives. But there is one thing that's in her way, the world is against her. She must learn to fight or die... or those she loves will fall with her soul following shortly after. She is the servant to the king under the mountain and will remain so even after his death.

Rin, the young princess of Greenwood and niece of the elven king,had never thought that her father had been anything more than a normal dwarf her mother had fallen in love with against every rule she ever knew. After Erebor was reclaimed, and the battle of the five armies was through, Thorin and the rest of the Dwarves took back their home and not after long, all of the Dwarves who were ran out by Smaug came back and Erebor was as if it was never taken. Due to everything getting back to normal, the Dwarves height had to match the work and environment even more. One day, a ranger finds her way to the City of Dale, just South-East of the Lonely Mountain, after receiving an anonymous letter from someone saying they want to talk to her about work. Who she ends up working for, or with, becomes something no one would have ever thought it would.

Andy Jackson is a college student, and is also a huge fangirl. She spends a lot of time reading, her friends say she reads too much and it doesn't help that she works in a library. She dreams of going to all of the places in her books even though she knows they aren't real. Or are they?
