I am Alice Winter - a recruit of the 104th Training Corps. A girl who survived the Titan assault on Shiganshina and was raised to become a soldier. The Titans took everything from me. So I wanted to take everything from them. Strength, vengeance, discipline - that was my plan. I thought I knew who I was. What I wanted. What I was fighting for. But the closer he got, the more everything I thought I knew began to blur. Even the image of the enemy I had burned into my heart started to fade. Because who the real enemy was that only became clear much later. In a world that tears open new wounds every single day, I learned that the greatest danger isn't the Titans - it's closeness. Because Titans can be slaughtered. Closeness slaughters you, so slowly that you won't notice until it's to late. Between loss and skin, orders and touch, my inner war begins. And who will make it out alive, I don't know. Hey :) I update the story regularly - several chapters per week. This won't be a short story where the characters fall into bed and get married after three chapters. It's meant to be deep, emotional, and intense - told through multiple perspectives, with a wide cast and gradual development. Some parts of the original AoT storyline are woven in, but this tale follows its own path. Enjoy reading!
