It been many years since Levi and Eren went to the same school together. Levi moved on with his life as Eren got a new job as a recording artist. But what happens when Eren finds out that Levi pursued his life as a lead singer of one of the most popular bands in the country?

Between heaven and hell, aether is a dream-like dimension that hangs above the universe's terrestrial atmosphere. Unlike heaven and hell however, aether is an afterlife for people who have never had the chance of living. Infants dead at birth. When aetherians pass away on Earth, they are transcended to aether, being taken care of until the age of 13. When they reach 15, they will take up a task. This task consists of coming to Earth in a human form; befriending/taking care of a mentally-ill human, with misogynies such as depression and anxiety; and nurse them back to health. Once the patient is freed, the angel will immediately transport back to aether, and stick around until they're 20; where they will then reincarnate back to the earth with no recollection of their time on aether, or Earth. Eren's 15th birthday is coming around the corner; and he's not quite certain he's ready for this task. Even with his doubts though, Eren's views are completely set on reincarnating back to Earth-- he desperately wanted, maybe even needed, to see the true wonders of life he had never got to experience. He was completely determined, and fueled with a drive. He was going to nurse this human, or in this case, Levi Ackerman, back to health. Eren is know to be always smiling and was caring around other's plus his also really handsome, that's what made others easily like him starting from when he was a kid. During high school Eren was seen as one of the popular one's, many girl's including boys confesses their feeling to him everyday, and that day Eren saw a letter inside his locker saying to meet at the back of the gym without any name of the sender, Eren was used to it and was planning to not come because he already guess what's gonna happened there, "Another confession" he signed When the time was up to go to the back of the gym, Eren was already on his way home leaving the sender of the letter wait there and be heart broken "I won't accept anymore confessions because i already have someone i love and his a very adorable petite nerd" Eren said to himself while walking home What he didn't know is that the adorable petite nerd he is talking about was heart broken that day while waiting in the cold night for someone who didn't come.

When Eren moves into a new town, he isn't excited to have to make new friends or set his place in the soccer team. But, when he meets the small captian of the team, Eren decides that maybe a new town isn't all that bad. Note: This is my first fanfic so sorry if it's bad. If comments seem a bit out of place, it's because I gave this book a heavy (well needed) edit! Eren was the eldest boy at the orphanage, mostly sticking to himself his whole life and just spending his time doing school work, looking after small children, and getting bullied. He couldn't remember the last time he felt much happiness, and he dealt with the pain with almost daily cutting. As life went on he felt closer and closer to just ending it.. but then he meets Levi. Levi, the star pupil, academically, comes to his aid and starts to protect him. He's a bit forward, but Eren likes him, and Levi likes him back. Things lead to one another and slowly Eren is realising more about his past and Levi won't stop asking questions. Will Eren tell him what he knows or will he end it before Levi can find out? What happens when he realises his life is a lie?

Sometimes the best things fall from the sky. But it never is stated that it couldn't be the best thing to happen to the one falling. Levi is a web designer living in upstate NYC and Eren starts off a homeless teenager in North Carolina. The two meet by Levi falling from a tree on top of him and their random encounter proves to be more pressing than either initially thought. Now it's up to Eren to prove he deserves the chance Levi is giving him of not being homeless. And to see if he can break the man from his shell.
