Eridan Ampora came from a long line of fisherman who used destructive ways to fish creatures out of the sea. When his only brother was found dead in an abandoned warehouse, Eridan isolated himself in his ship and made a living off of selling fresh catch to the fish market on the docks. Hearing a rumor there about a breeding ground for cuttlefish at a mysterious area named Mermaid Bay, infamous for landing boats into shipwrecks upon the protruding rocks and other forlorn debris, the prince is restless to go explore. But what he finds at this forbidden breeding ground is much more precious than any cuttlefish he could sell; the only fish he could never catch. A story told over short and sweet drabble paragraphs, brimming with poetic eloquence and an infinity of self-loathing.

I was bored af and I couldn't decide which ship to write about (Solkat, Erikar, or Davekat) so I decided it would be a little bit of all three and everything else in between. Also some mentioning of Eridan/Feferi ♠(kismesises of course) also Karkat might be their auspistice I don't know how I see it is Eridan has pale/red feelings for Karkat but because of the incident at the beach (explained in the story) Karkat decides to pursue an ashen quadrant with both Feferi and Eridan. And Davekat is there because it's my number one OTP out of the three (and plus its kinda canon).
