Over time, they become familiar with these strangers on the other side. They decide to build a bridge across to close the gap and end their loneliness. Hello! This is nowhere near finalized, but that's kind of the point! This is sort of a pilot to see if I should post this on AO3, so if you have ANY feedback at all, please comment it! Like, PLEASE. A story told over short and sweet drabble paragraphs, brimming with poetic eloquence and an infinity of self-loathing.
