Every so often, he encounters many other lovers but some seem to last a lifetime to him but in reality, it's only been a week. Many view him as pityful or just wanting attention. But I see him as a broken child who just wants some love from another.

Face it, we all want to know what it would have been like if Christine and Erik had a daughter, so instead of Gustave, we have Gwen. This is a love never dies fanfic with an alternative ending Note: I'm setting this story 13 years later and not 10 because I want Gwen to be more mature. Christine is 29, Raoul is 31 and Erik is 37 Meg is 29 as well. As for madam Giry.. She's just old

{Follows the 2004 film} Christine got married to Raoul and they seemed to be happy together. But in a few months Christine realized that maybe something was wrong. Raoul cheated on her. She thought that maybe she made a wrong choice and continued thinking of Erik... Her poor unhappy Erik. Is he still down there? Is he even alive? Pain. Grief. Loneliness. This was all Christine ever knew throughout her life. Unemployed and forced to rely on the charity of others, Christine is utterly miserable. While Raoul is sent away to fight in the Franco-Prussian War, Christine is left alone to dwell on memories of a summer years past. As a simple walk against the harsh winter of 1870 turns into an unexpected venture into the darkest memories of her cruel childhood, is it too late for a little light in the dark?

In the dark of the lair, candlelight beaming, Raoul, near death on the Punjab lasso as the Phantom turns to Christine and yells "Choose!" She looks at Raoul and then the phantom, "I-I" she sighs, "I choose-" Read for more! (In this story, any Phantom cast can be used.) No copyright intended. This is just for pure fan fun.

After Christine Daee leaves the phantom, Erik, with Raoul she feels regret as she drifts away in the boat. She already promised Raoul a lifetime of commitment, but her heart was left with Erik. The next morning he police have a mysterious mission that no one knows about that involves them running around the entire city. Perhaps it's a... Search party? Maybe someone who Christine knows personally?

Christine meets Erik, the "Phantom Boy" of the school, in her senior year of high school and realizes that she doesn't really love Raoul.

Approaching the old opera house was much more difficult than Christine Daaé had imagined. Not because of the fallen debris, or the scorched marble staircase she had to climb to reach the top. Nor was it the bittersweet memories that began to flash through a deep and pushed away piece of her consciousness when she managed to open the door that lead inside.
