However she knew war very well. Life, to her, was an uphill battle. The sadness and depression that set in everyday had become her only friend. The demons in her head roamed freely. When she reached the age if transfer she chose Dauntless over Amity. It wasn't a choice she would regret. What happens when the bravest of the brave takes a liking to her.

Bonnie really only had one person she could count on. Her Aunt. She was rarely in town but always seemed to arrive at the moment that Bonnie needed her. She's the one who took her clothes shopping and the one that sent her a care package for every period, including her first one. Right on time and without being told. But she was a witch. She lived in a small Louisiana town near Shreveport. When Grams dies, instead of calling her Aunt, Bonnie runs away from Mystic Falls that night and to her Aunt's house. She begs her forgiveness and tells her she understands if she hates her. Her Aunt doesn't hate her at all. She knows that her mother had made some mistakes and she understands Bonnie can make mistakes. Bonnie asked her the question she always wanted to: Why couldn't she be her mother.
