Sunkit is a young kit of ThunderClan, born from a kittypet mother and a warrior father. When her mother left the Clan as she wasn't fit for warrior life, her father started hating Sunkit a lot for ruining his life and stating she couldn't be a warrior. Sunkit doesn't give up though as she becomes Sunpaw. Though mostly every cat doubts that Sunpaw will ever become a warrior, Sunpaw ignores them. Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. But as tensions rise between FlameClan and CliffClan, she's worried about the future ahead of them.
