Will knew something wasn't right. JJ had her crazy schedules and, sometimes, she would tell him she wouldn't be picking up Henry only fifteen minutes before the agreed time. It drove Will insane most of the times, but, in a way, he understood why it happened. JJ was a FBI agent, she was part of the most renowned team at the bureau, she saved lives for a living and sometimes Will did feel selfish about expecting her to be more present, but he knew better than to ask her to try and stay in D.C. more often. She would refuse it - he learned that the wrong way. She'd say that was her job and that was what she loved to do and that was what she needed to be doing. And, as much as he understood, as much as he admired her for that and for the fact that she was still the most doting and caring mother he could have ever asked for their son, it still drove him insane. He hated when she cancelled her plans with Henry because of work because the six-years-old was always so excited to see mommy, but, that day, that wasn't what was happening. That day, something else was going on and Will didn't like it at all. Because, yes, JJ often cancelled her plans with Henry, but she never - never - did it without letting Will know first. He leans his head back and although she can't see him she can feel his breath on her neck. "I need you to promise me something," he whispers. "Anything," she says, her heart pounds in her throat. Elaine, 15, is thrown for a loop one night when the demons her family has been hiding from finally catch up. Because of this she and her brother are sent to live at the Mansion of Birds owned by David Rossi. Up until this point, it was only a place in the stories her mother told, but now she must adjust to its unique characters while awaiting her mother's return.

This is gonna be a story on how Aaron and JJ sort out there feelings for each other while the rest of the team has no idea. I am a new writer so leave me some feedback on how I am doing. Disclaimer: I own none of the characters mentioned in this story.

In this A/U story, Spencer Walter Reid is Spencer McKenna-Llewellyn Taylor, son of McKenna "Mac" Llewellyn Taylor and Claire Conrad from New York, where Mac works as a CSI after being part of the United States Marine Corps and an NYPD officer. Claire was killed in the 9/11 World Trade Center Terrorist Attacks. Spencer's extended family is the CSI: NY team and the Miami-Dade CSI team. Spencer's godfather is Mac's best friend, Horatio Seamus-Callahan Caine. Spencer is still a genius obviously, but his getting into the BAU will be a little different as you'll find out in this story.
