True's having strange dreams. Dreams involving a deck of magical cards, a sealed book, (also feeling strongly of magic), and a mysterious man who calls himself Clow Reed.

My own take on the story of Eriol and his preparations for Sakura, this short story is about Eriol's life as a normal child... until the day he discovers that he was nowhere near normal, a person with a past and a future. Disclaimers and trivia: Also in the Cardcaptor Sakura Oneshot book. (Even though that version isn't edited) This storyline takes place before and during the Clow Card and Sakura Card arcs. References from the anime up to the 22th episode of the clear Card arc may be made. The storyline is different from the one in the manga. Thus, some facts wouldn't add up.
