Erik and Christine have been together for a few years and they couldn't be happier- something that was a major surprise to the man himself. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes when Christine becomes terminally ill. He won't lose her. He can't. There was a reason he always felt so cold to the touch. Being a vampire has its perks and he acts upon impulse.

"I don't like it here, though, Erik. Don't you trust me?" "Well, yes, I suppose." "Then let me go. I know how you feel about me. If you love and trust me... Let me go. Don't you trust me to come back?" Erik sighed. "Not really. No, I don't." Christine sighed. She's getting no where with this man! She rubbed her temple. "No one ever came back." He whispered sadly.

Two years after Christine left the phantom she returns and admits her love for him, she's happy to finally be his But something isn't right, Is he the real phantom or is he someone else pretending to be him.

But when Christine starts telling them not to, they get suspicious. Christine begins to realize that the man she married is still a criminal. Will they be able to keep their marriage a secret, or will the world find out. They must go through tough times to stay safe. But will safety be the cost of love. All that's known is one fact: Erik is a wanted man.

Erik has spent his whole life waiting for his second chance, and after nearly losing her, here she is. But loving Erik brings complications. Wherever they go, they and their familly must spend their new lives in hiding. Can the family ever truly feel safe? And what of the Destler children that wear their fathers mark? This is a Phantom of the Opera modern AU that I wrote! The characters in this story (ie Christine, Erik, and Meg) are all in high school, and it's the week before prom! Christine Daáe, a 11th grader at Populaire High, is greeted by a strange boy who no one knows the name of. Though, he is, in fact, known as "Popularie Ghost". He has a craving, or crush, on Christine like she hasn't ever experienced before. She's stuck between her childhood sweetheart, the ever so popular Raoul, and the strange Populaire Ghost.

Gustave Daaé traveled all over the world to share his splendid talent on the violin. His skill awed crowds and made his name an instantly recognizable one in all musicians minds. But away from the spotlight his precious daughter grew, an enchanting girl who dreamed of one day becoming like her beloved father. While Gustave Daaé has a performance at the world renowned Garnier Opera House, his daughter wanders into a masked boy who was watching her father's performance from the shadows.
