The gods are in revolt. A plan was hatched, arrows were mixed up, and now Eros is in love with Psyche-and so are Apollo and his twin and goddess of the hunt, Artemis. So when Zeus strips Eros of his powers and matchmaking privileges, he has to prove himself worthy of Psyche in the most humanlike way as possible: to beat the gods in a game of love and chance.
