Set on the context of school love drama, the novel highlights the love life of the two protagonists in Shiners High School. Alvin and Shirlene find their love seed at the peril of scattering when Madam Talia Kerubo, the new teacher in the teaching practice abducts Shirlene and forces her to abandon Alvin. Drama kicks off as the two lovers fight for their love upto the happy ending in the novel.
