As an inspiration of the gaming trilogy of Prince of Persia, I have decided to write an original novel which narrates the story of the prince of Babylon. The prince embarks on a journey for self-redemption due to being the cause of the downfall of his kingdom. His journey filled with many queery happenings and prophetic calamities never dissuade him from his quest. However what he found upon reaching Shakkojyk, the island of little horn, forever changed the course of his life.

This is a compilation of my poems. Everything I write is from my mind and from my perspective therefore I do not expect you to agree with everything I write. If I write about a controversial issue then obviously my views will be biased. I will respect everyone's opinions however I also expect you to respect my opinions so please no bashing the crap out of my poems. Also, I am aware that I don't have a particular rhyme scheme to my poems however poetry isn't all about rhyming ^-^

I'll warn you here that this story is likely to have mistakes, topics and themes that may be violent or triggering to some, and a little swearing. I hope you enjoy and feel free to tell me if something doesn't make sense. This is going to be a book of short stories, feel free to make requests.

That struck his interest. As his enchanting, grey gaze leisurely made its way to meeting my dull, brave one I felt my heart rate increase and a burn begin in the bottom of my lungs. My tongue suddenly felt thick as our eyes met. A small smirk played at the corners of his lips as he looked over his shoulder at me. "Tsk," he shook his head. "Don't you ever learn, dear Ava?" In a split moment he was in front of me, supporting my body with one arm as he hovered me less than a foot from the ground. My breath lodged in my throat as his eyes scanned my features, the pad of his thumb running across my bottom lip. I could feel each indent of his print against my skin. Time felt frozen as he raked his slow torture over me. Another small "tut" noise emitted from his throat as he leaned in close to my ear. His deep and melodic voice, throaty with hunger then rang into my sole ear. "Never dance with the devil." *** Mature content. Violence and sexual content as well as strong language may occur.

An Apocalypse of poetry.

Our hands seem to always find a way to touch. Each time we close the distance between us, we seem to crave the feel of each other's skin, either we instantly wrap ourselves in each other's arms or automatically hold hands in a way your fingers are intertwined between mine. Our eyes seem to always find a way to meet even in crowded places. The stares that linger before we exchange sweet smiles and face somewhere else as if we long for something more. No soul has ever captivated me the way yours does. But... "We're friends. Just friends, right?"
