In a period of civil war, the Rebel Alliance sends Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso to talk to a defected Imperial pilot who claims to have information about a weapon of mass destruction. Upon learning about the weapon called the Death Star, the two, along with a few unlikely friends, must find a way to destroy it before the Empire uses it to amass death across the galaxy. The Head Healer at the Rebel Alliance base at Yavin 4, Thalassa Andor, sister of Cassian, must stay behind as the team, known as Rogue One, attempts to complete their mission. It isn't until those at the Rebel base learn of their attack on Scarif, that Thalassa follows her brother into battle. She accompanies Bail Organa's daughter on her ship, having been told to protect the young Princess of Alderaan with her life. When the Battle of Scarif ended with massive casualties, Thalassa has no time to count her losses before she and the Princess are forced to flee the battlefield. Not much later, Darth Vader catches up to their ship and Thalassa is once again running for her life. She and the Princess are taken prisoner by the Empire, but the Princess put a vital piece of information into an R2 driod and leaves a message for a man named Obi-wan before sending the driod on his way. Thalassa and Princess Leia Organa must protect their minds from the attempts of Lord Vader and Grand Moff Tarken. They can only hope that someone will come to their rescue...

As rumors of an ultimate weapon spread across the galaxy, the shadow of the Empire grows ever darker. If there is to be any hope of defeating the weapon, a ragtag team of rebels, criminals, and outcasts will have to learn to work together. Success will mean giving the Alliance another day to fight, while failure will mean certain death for all who dare oppose the Empire. Loyalties will be questioned, trust will be strained, and convictions will be tested before there is any chance of victory.

I head-canon hardcore that Jyn's mother was a Jedi who had given up her Jedi life to live a normal one. First false hope, then no hope at all. They have given us both. There is only one hope. We must all turn against the land. Against those who feed us lies to keep us down. It's the only way we can save each other. Otherwise, none of us will ever be free.

"I don't have much time," she began. "I don't know if you can hear me but, I just wanted to thank you. For everything." She found it hard to look at his bruised face. "I'm not sure what's going to happen. But all of this would've been for nothing if we can't destroy the Death Star." Her heart raced, knowing what she was walking into. Hearing a droid down the hall she panicked, taking her kyber crystal necklace off. "I'll come back. I promise." She leaned down to kiss his forehead leaving the necklace in his hand. Quickly she hid behind a curtain as the droid sauntered in. Once it turned its back Jyn took a last glance at Cassian and with hesitation escaped. Her ship left approximately in an hour. She had already packed her things. The journey ahead could be her last.

Two years has passed since Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor broke up, it was messy and cruel. But no matter what they do, they still find each other back.
