The war is over, the White Star (Radish) is dead for good, and the God of Despair has been resealed, but Cale's ever so elusive Slacker Life is still out of reach with the looming threat of the Hunters. The God of Death, knowing that he is at least partially responsible for the chaos that has been Cale's life so far, decides to give him a gift (besides the ones he already originally planned to give him), the gift of truth. Not for Cale, but for those he cares for. He will take the burden of secrets from Cale's shoulders, if only to lighten the heavy load he tries to carry on his own. Or Cale's loved ones, friends, and allies across multiple worlds are summoned to read his story (legend). Trash of the Count's Family is not mine and all credit for the original novel go to its wonderful author, Yoo Ryeo Han. Cale Henituse, the first son of Deruth Henituse, the trash/Lout of the county. He was labled as such when he started drinking at a young age- Now 18, a day before he got beat up by Choi Han, he found that, things don't seem the way as they present to be. Oh, and the Gods seemed to have did something stupid. - Or; Cale Henituse realises that some things are amiss, and it seemed to have a lot of impact in his life, and most of all his health. (mentally, physically, and emotionally bc no one is safe from me 😈😈) . . TLDR; Basically Cale gains memories from the future, but with a price to pay. Btw it's a BL, not explicit, just some hints of gayness bc bro Cale is more dense than Osmium (pls tell me you get what I mean- yknow.. the most dense element other than iridium..)

There are several chapters before the reactions start. This is the speed run version that will only cover portions of the novel instead of the entire novel chapter by chapter like my original version does.

Cale was getting ready for his third meeting of the week, and certainly not his last. Since the end of the war just a week ago, he'd had one job after another to do, he'd temporarily taken on the post of Prime Minister to help Alberu manage everything, everyone wanted to stop him and make him rest, but he was determined to help Alberu finish everything. He was feeling more and more exhausted as he got closer to the meeting room and he'd been feeling ill since this morning but he insisted on coming anyway, he didn't say anything to anyone and just said he'd rest when it was over.

He is currently standing outside the domain, all that remains are ruins and corpses of people he did not know. He tried to walk closer to the ruins, he could move comfortably as if he were actually walking. 'What is that?' He didn't understand what was happening, until he saw a figure that looked like him crying next to a corpse that looked like Deruth henituse. At the time, he could feel emotions he didn't understand, but a sense of loss quickly filled him. He clearly didn't like it but he couldn't think for long. Everything stopped and he eventually came back at lunch. He was back in the real world, even if it was no longer safe than reality.

Once, there was a hero loved by all. He carried victories on his shoulders, despair in his hands, and hope in his silent presence. He stood at the center of the war and ensured its end- Then vanished. After the final battle, the world moved on-lighter, safer, complete. They remember his titles, the war, that someone led them to victory. But they can't remember his name, his face, the man who bled for them. But even forgotten, his absence leaves scars. Unfinished gestures. Empty spaces. A lingering ache no one can explain. And beside Crown Prince Alberu Crossman now stands a quiet aide who feels painfully familiar-someone whose presence brings comfort, sorrow... and a longing that refuses to fade. This is the story of what they lost and what is about to be remembered. ///////////// This is my first fanfic, it's a reaction fanfic a little different from the ones I've read so far. The credits of the novel are obviously to Yoo Ryeo-Han (유려한) The cover belongs to me, it was made with the help of the IA but is mine. I don't have a schedule to publish a new chapter but i guess it will take a while English isn't my first language, so there might be spelling mistakes or confusing sentences. I apologize in advance. This fanfic is created solely for entertainment purposes, and I don't intend to offend anyone. I know, or at least I think so, that the Albecale ship isn't canon, but I love it, so it will be canon in this story. The idea was inspired by a video reaction I saw about the characters from the fanfic "Third Mirage"? I think that was its name, only it was in Russian. It was a reaction to the original "Totcf," although I don't really remember it very well, but it's something like that. So, I'd say credit goes to the creator of that fanfic, even though I haven't seen it, and to the creator of the video, whose name I honestly don't remember.

Everything had been calm for some time. Today was no exception, after a good meal Cale fell asleep in his bed at the villa with the children around him as usual. It was a peaceful night. He woke up in the morning in an unknown place, yet he was sure that he had been asleep in his apartment the day before, while he was reading a book, a novel. So where was he now ? Was it removed during the night? But this one definitely doesn't look like a prison or anything like that. But rather a luxurious residence, which perhaps looked a little too much like a noble house in a novel.

So now, it's just Cale and this four children that was abandoned in his hand's, stuck in a strange world crawling with God's, trying to enjoy a vacation that feels more like divine exile. . .all while a cosmic-level manhunt unfolds in the background.
